Gluten Free Almond Date Balls

3 cups roasted almonds
1 1/2 cups pitted dates
4 egg whites
1-2 tbsp. ground cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Place the roasted almonds into a food processor and pulse until it is ground roughly
2. Add in the pitted dates and pulse until well combined
3. Add in the ground cinnamon and egg white and pulse again until all completely combined and the mixture is sticky
4. To form the balls use about 1-2 tbsp. of the mixture and mould into firm balls
5. Place the balls onto a baking tray lined with grease proof baking paper, leaving a gap between each one
6. Once all the mixture is turned into balls, place the baking tray into a warm oven at 200 degrees C for 8 minutes until lightly golden in colour
7. Once baked remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire tray
